Littlehampton Swimming Club’s accreditation is that of a Swim21 Club Essential certificate for Skill Development, where the club develops swimmers’ technical skills within a programme of quality coaching and varied competition.

LSC’s Swim21 Co-ordinator brings together others from within the club, including head coach and committee members, to draw up a two year development plan. This is submitted to the ASA in the autumn. This two year plan sets out the club’s overall annual objectives from which are derived the club’s objectives for:

  • Governance
  • Athlete Pathway
  • Workforce Pathway
  • Marketing & Communication
  • Partnerships

The management committee use this plan in setting and reviewing workflow in order to achieve the stated objectives and so better serve the needs of Littlehampton Swimming Club, its membership, workforce and wider community.
