Our team travelled to Guildford for what was another tense and exciting night of swimming!

I was really proud of the way everyone pulled together, with great performances and great team support. We were missing four of our team due to illness and injury so it was a tough gala which saw us finish 5th, just 6 points behind Worthing.

Our 15/u boys Will LM, Tom, Ollie I and Archie provided the only wins of the night with the double in the medley and freestyle relays in awesome style!

There were some great PBs too. Birthday girl Amber knocked another 0.68s off her 100 fly. Last minute reserve Ollie N swam almost a 3 second PB in his 50 fly. And Daniel did a massive 5.46s PB in his 100 fly! There were more good PBs from Ella T, Archie, Marcus, Will LM and Issy too! Even more were season bests too.

A huge well done to everyone who swam! Judging by the noise on the coach going home everyone sounded happy, helped along with some birthday cake!

The bottom 3 teams in the division are relegated, so we go down to division 2, with our heads held high, next season, along with Worthing and Dorking. The positive is we can look forward to a great competition next year! You can find all the results and final table here:  http://www.nationalarenaswimmingleague.org/2018-round-3.html

Many thanks as always to our lovely helpers: Bernie, Kerry and Dan our team managers. Dean and Mark our officials.
