Guy Squad

Junior Skills Development 2 – 4 sessions per week (5 hours)

Swimmers move to this squad when they have developed a good training ethic e.g. always remember to streamline, are able to tumble turn and dive off the block, swim front crawl and backstroke with good technique over repeated distances, have a legal breaststroke and can swim at least basic butterfly. They will usually be 9-12 years old. They will continue with technique and skills development, the aerobic endurance will be harder and basic speed work continues. They will work towards their ASA Full Competitive Start Award. Swimmers will move to Scott or Tutton Squads from here.
