A huge thank you to all of our volunteer officials and helpers from all clubs who helped our first open meet of the season, we could not run these events without you. It was certainly a very busy one with over 300 swimmers attending through a very long day, which saw some great results.

50 Littlehampton swimmers took part, with every family providing help at the meet, plus some who had no children swimming!

There were many very pleasing results with lots of PBs. Several swimmers improved their winter county qualifying times, plus new times were achieved by Emily Carman, Issy Charnock, Daniel Fernandes, Kitty Hogg, Tegan Prior and Matty Smith.

I was impressed by our swimmers with their excellent support for each other and behaviour at the meet. If I was to pick a most improved swimmer there would be two! Lewis Jones and Fliss Harris who both swam large PBs in all their events – they are both regular competitors who last competed in July and who both work very hard in training. Well done Lewis and Fliss!

Great work everyone!
