Drew Gowland, Tamsin Netherwood, Sam Munro and Jess Frayne all represented Sussex in the inaugral Kent v Sussex Challenge Cup in Royal Tunbridge Wells, with Sussex winning!

This proved a fun competition all enjoyed, with some unusual races such as two swimmer relays – one doing 75m and one doing 25m! At the end of the evening Sussex’ “Gold” beat Kent “White” & Sussex “Blue” overcame Kent “Green”. Great work guys!

If you are a swimmer aged 18 years and over you can compete in masters competitions. Masters compete in five-year age bands (e.g. 18-24, 25-29). Competition is available in all four strokes and over all distances up to 1,500 metres. There is no upper age limit and in Sussex we have Masters competing in the 80-85 years category. Or you can just swim for fitness.
